The Shaker & Vine, a self-service wine bar, is the latest restaurant to open at Schenectady’s Mohawk Harbor development.
The restaurant features self-serve wine machines that let customers sample wines, each dispensed with the push of a button. The self-serve option lets the customer take a sip, taste or a full pour at three different price points.
The Shaker & Vine also has a full-service kitchen and bar with cocktails, and a menu of grilled cheese sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, charcuterie boards and chocolate and cheese fondue.
The concept comes from Anthony Graziano, who owns Chilled, an industry publication for bartenders.
